The Flagler Palm Coast (FPC) Kiwanis Foundation is a civic organization dedicated to serving the children of our community. As part of Kiwanis, we are committed to improving the lives of youth through meaningful support of schools, nonprofit organizations, and community-based initiatives throughout Flagler County.
Children remain our highest priority. Through our funding efforts, we seek to invest in programs and projects that positively impact their growth, education, well-being, and future opportunities.
To ensure a fair and structured process, the FPC Kiwanis Foundation has established the following funding guidelines:
- Funding requests of $500 or more will be formally reviewed.
- Each request must serve a specific, identifiable purpose and not supplement an organization’s general operating budget.
- Funding is intended to support projects, not to fully fund them or serve as the primary financial source.
- Organizations may receive only one contribution per calendar year.
- Awards are considered one-time funding and should not be expected as recurring support.
- Multiple awards may be granted annually, depending on available funds and community needs.
- All applications will be reviewed by the FPC Kiwanis Foundation Directors Committee, with final approval granted by the Foundation Board of Directors.
Applicants may be invited to:
- Participate in an interview process, and/or
- Deliver a formal presentation describing their project, its purpose, and its impact on the community.
The Foundation Board will determine the final funding amount, which may be equal to or less than the requested amount, based on available resources for the year.
Applicants will be notified of decisions via email. Approved organizations must comply with any additional requirements within 30 days of notification.
